Stationary journeys through sound.
Cities in Sounds is an immersive audio series produced by Nova Train that explores how cities are perceived through their rhythms, silences, flows, and invisible details. Paris, Brussels, London, Biarritz… and many more cities to come.
Each episode is recorded on location over a short period—often 24 hours—and crafted as a sensory journey combining field recordings, minimalist narration, and subtle electronic music.
The goal is not to “present” a city from a tourist or documentary perspective, but rather to convey:
- an atmosphere
- a tension
- a light
- a sense of scale
- a feeling of distance or proximity
London, Biarritz, Brussels…
Every city has its own sonic breath, its own codes, contrasts, and unique way of occupying space.
Cities in Sounds is best experienced through headphones—on a train, while walking, at night, or between destinations. A form of mental travel.
The format can also be adapted for:
- cities
- cultural venues
- hotels
- regions and destinations
- brands
- institutions
- or events looking to offer an original and immersive audio experience
Nova Train creates sound experiences that allow people to discover places from a different perspective.
